The Immortal Phoenix Soul
Phoenix-kind. A dear friend of mine aptly named human's souls as such: Phoenix-kind. Death is only temporary, and is only physical.
But finally free from the limits of the body, the soul rise like a fiery and powerful phoenix, and from there, who knows where a Phoenix might go and reborn? A new life on a new planet? The eluding and bright Heaven? Or fly to the stars, and travel across them, a free and fiery soul drifting across the wonders of the Universe, a fitting rest?
No matter what is the true destination after death, all I do know, is that we might just as well choose ourselves, because ultimately, our souls are bright and shining Phoenixes.
They shine as bright as the cruel world would allow them, often becoming fiery beacons of hope; then they will go out in flames, freely rise above the Earth into the stars, and one day, return to shine once more to those who need it. Either here, or on another life somewhere far away across the stars, across space-time, or in the Heavens, where their loved ones will rejoin them, and add their bright lights to those already there, so that the heavens may shine even more brighter in this darkening world. Death is but the freedom to let the Phoenix soul rejuvenate and shine only brighter, no matter where it will end its journey.

I'd also like to take the opportunity and dedicate this as a tribute to every beloved artists who passed away in the last year and whom inspired so many, including myself.
They were all great Phoenix souls who shone brightly in all their own way, that are no longer in this world, but are now free and shining only brighter wherever they are now. May their family one day join them to be reunited once more in the stars; and may the fiery light they left behind continue to shine, be remembered and spread by many for countless years to come.
